KATIE KIDLE, LMSW
MomShare facilitator
Women’s Center Clinical Director Room to Talk therapist
Katie Kidle, LMSW, leads our MomShare group. In addition to leading MomShare for the last three years, Katie has worked as a Mom Power facilitator at The Corner Health Center in Ypsilanti, and is currently The Women's Center's Clinical Director as well as a a therapist through our Room to Talk program.
During her time at the University of Michigan's School of Social Work, Katie received specific training on Infant Mental Health and Attachment Theory. Her education, training, experience, and the fact that she is the mom of two little ones all inform her approach.
"After I had my first child, I realized how lonely and isolating motherhood can be. It sparked my passion for building community among new parents, and my favorite thing about MomShare are the friendships and networks of support our moms create with each other—many of which last long after they graduate from the group."
